About this role.

The main purpose of this role is to transport wheelchair users from their home to appointments and events.

What this role involves?

In this role you will drive the service users of the Tipperary Branch of the Irish Wheelchair association to events and appointments as scheduled by the organisations staff and co-ordinators. Safety and cleanliness is of the upmost importance and you will be responsible for the oversight of the services minibus why using it.

Social isolation affects us all. That isolation is further compounded for wheelchair users. If you have the time and a full clean drivers license that permits you to drive a minibus this is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those who need some extra support. At the same time you will be meeting new people and educating yourself on the challenges faced by those with disabilities.
