Tipperary Volunteer Centre, along with the other Volunteer Centres in Munster, collected feedback from volunteers and voluntary organisations to input into the National Volunteering Strategy in February. This feedback clearly demonstrated the need for further research.
Specifically, an in-depth comparative assessment to formally evaluate the challenges facing urban and rural organisations so that we can develop our services to strengthen volunteering locally. We have partnered with University College Cork (UCC) to undertake this research project.
If you are involved in a community and voluntary organisation who has a presence in counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary or Waterford we would appreciate your input. The closing date for the survey is Tuesday 17th December. It will take you less than 12 minutes to complete, all views are valued and the survey is completely confidential.
